HCG Diet Update

2

I apologize for not posting and keeping up on the daily posts. I am still doing the HCG Diet and losing weight steadily. I fit into my clothes better, my man boobs are going down and people are noticing that I am losing weight. Overall it has been a positive experience. I am down to 218 right now, which means I have lost 16 pounds since I started the diet.

I have about a week left of the injections, and I have noticed that the second round of injections have not been nearly as effective as the first round. While I am still losing, it is not coming off as fast as it was. Part of the problem is timing. We have had a ton of family parties that have made it difficult to follow the diet 100%. As long as I am losing I am happy about it.

While I do think the HCG helps lose weight I am not sure exactly how profound of an affect it actually has. After this diet I am a firm believer that eating healthy and exercising are the best options for losing weight.

I am glad the HCG diet has shown me what I was eating wrong and what I was doing to gain weight. Because of the HCG diet I was more aware of what I had been doing before and I must say I was eating very unhealthy foods at horrible times. So many times I have caught myself telling my wife, “We should go get a shake” at 10:00 at night. Now I stop and we discuss how that will only hurt our weight loss goals, not to mention eat away at our budget. Before the HCG diet we wouldn’t think twice as we headed out to get a shake late at night.

I am glad I have done the HCG diet so I can lose the weight and kick start the process. I have a new desire to work out and get my life active again. I have loved fitting into clothes and not always feeling like the fatty everywhere I go. Feeling that again has made me happy and will help me lose the remaining weight I need to lose.

If you are looking into the HCG diet, think about it carefully. My wife and I have ate almost the exact same diet since I started the diet and she has lost 7 pounds and I have lost 16. Eating healthy is the best thing we can do to get in shape, while the HCG diet may help I would recommend fixing your diet first then trying HCG Diet if that doesn’t work.

Good luck in whatever approach you take. Losing weight is a long hard process and there is not an easy solution. It takes time and effort to lose weight, but it can be done.

This is great news on your weight loss. I’m trying to lose weight too. Are you taking a supplement to support you? I’ve been taking a supplement from a company called Transformologies (they are new. I heard about them from a friend of a friend). It’s like everything in one capsule taken throughout the day. It seems to be working – I have energy, not hungry, feeling good, burning fat and losing weight….but wondering what you are doing while on the HCG diet?
    Thanks.

Hey – nice work so far on your 16 lb loss. I found your site for the first time today and it seems like we’re on similar paths…I’m just a few years older (35). I’m 5’11″ as well and I started at 235 (couldn’t believe I’d gotten that big) and I’m on the 43 day HCG protocol. So far I’ve lost 22 lbs and haven’t cheated or had any real desire to cheat. I figure I’ll be right around 200 when I’m through with my HCG diet at the beginning of December. I’ll be on Phase 3 til right before Christmas and then I’ll be exercising and eating healthy to get down to 175-180.

Good luck – I’ll check in from time to time to see how it’s going for you.
