I decided to try the HCG Weight Loss Diet to help me lose the excess weight I have been carrying around. I have looked into this for about a month now and everyone I have talked to has had success. After looking at all of the factors I have decided to give it a try. We are friends with a lady that is a nurse and sells the HCG Weight Loss Diet. She has done a ton of research about this diet and has even used it herself. When my wife and I went over to visit her and buy everything, my wife commented that she had never looked so good.

I am doing the injections, which at first seemed like it would be difficult, but after the first shot I have realized it is not difficult at all. It is a really small needle and it does not hurt at all. There is also a treatment you can do by placing the HCG below your tongue and taking it orally. For me the price was too good to pass up on the injections.

The first day was very difficult, due to the fact that you have to eat as much fat as possible. The first 2 days consist of eating fatty foods that will replenish my fat cells for the duration of the diet. I am doing the 20 day injections for now, with the possibility of increasing it to the 40 day injections if I like the results. Yesterday and today I am trying to eat fat and getting ready for the diet to actually begin. It has been difficult in that for the last year I have been trying to avoid fatty foods whenever I can, to seek them out is difficult and almost makes me sick thinking about it. Tomorrow I am down to a 500 calorie diet which I will continue to document for everyone to read.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have a good weight loss update, I imagine it will really kick into effect once I start the strict diet. I did not want to try a diet like this, but this one is different than all of the other diets I looked at. The HCG supposedly breaks down the fat cells and burns up to 4,000 calories a day. This makes the 500 calorie diet possible and helps decrease your appetite. I will let you know if these claims are true as we go along.

If you are in the Salt Lake Valley and interested in the HCG Weight Loss Diet, contact me at travis@dropping50.com and I will provide you with the contact information for where I received it.

Keep coming back and I will keep you updated on my progress. I am going to try and post everyday with results and progress, so anyone interested in the HCG Weight Loss Diet can see how it went for me.

Wish me luck!

…and still obese. It seems as though I have tried everything and nothing has worked. I am trying to work out as much as I can and I have not lost a pound in over a year.

Okay, to say I have tried everything is a stretch and I do realize that I may not have been as dedicated as I should be. I have tried a lot of stuff and every time I get so frustrated that it is not working that I give it up. For example, I ran every morning at the gym for 2 months. Not just a little jog either, I was running very hard for 40-60 minutes. After 2 months I think I gained a pound. I get so frustrated so I try something else, only to fail again.

My latest is I have decided to quit playing Soccer and Basketball – because I enjoyed it. I wanted to reward myself by playing them again once I reached a certain weight, it has not happened. I think I am going to start playing again, looking back that was probably one of the worst ideas I had.

What to do, I am extremely frustrated with my weight and I don’t know what to do to fix it. I am looking into the Acai Berry diet and the cleanse, as well as the HCG Diet. My only worry is that they are quick fixes and I will gain the weight back as soon as I am done with the diet. Bottom line is I need to change my lifestyle.

I have cut back on Fast Food, candy, desserts and every other fat-inducing things I used to eat a lot of. I have seen progress over the last year. My face is skinnier and my belly seems to be a little smaller, but it is nowhere where I want it to be. We are going swimming tonight and I just hope that nobody decides to come with us because I am so embarrassed by my body. I am sick of it and it is time to get rid of this excess weight. I want to enjoy Summer again and be proud of my body!

I am a 26 year old male that is sick of being overweight. I weigh in at 230 and I am  5’11″, the recommended weight for my height and age is 180. I have 50 pounds to drop and I have tried almost everything. I want to lose all of my weight by the end of the year and I know that I will be much better off for doing it.

I am a firm believer that an important step to obtaining any goal is to tell people about your goal. There are several advantages to telling other people about your goals. I could not think of a better way to tell others about my goal to lose weight than to start a blog and write about it. Hopefully I can help others obtain there goals and I can help them as I go with what has worked for me and what has not worked. I would love to receive any positive feedback you may have to help me and many others like me lose the excess weight we have gained over the years.

Here is the purpose of Dropping50.com:

  • Announce my weight loss goals to everyone
  • Make a plan for losing the weight and stick to it
  • Write about my food journal
  • Track progress as I go with pictures
  • Regain my Self-Esteem
  • Help other people that need to lose weight as well

Here is my Weight History:

I have not always been overweight, in fact when I was in High School I was one of the fastest kids at my school. I was on my High School soccer team and I ran everyday for several hours. I was in great shape with a six pack and 6% of body fat. After High School I tried to keep up the physical activity by working construction and playing sports whenever I could.

It all went downhill while I was in college. At my High School graduation I weighed 165 lb’s, at my College graduation I weighed 230 lb’s. Most of that was due to the natural maturation cycle and getting a bigger frame, however 50 lb’s of it is excess and needs to go! I am not sure why I gained so much in college, I tried to stay active and I tried to eat right. A lot of it can be contributed to sitting around studying for tests and sitting in class.

I did have some big life changes that could have contributed to my weight gain as well. I was able to get married to the most wonderful woman in the world and we had a beautiful baby together. Although these 2 events were the greatest events in my life, they slowed down my active lifestyle. I wasn’t able to go play sports with my friends whenever I wanted, and I wasn’t able to pay for expensive gyms at the time. I still tried to remain active whenever I could, but it was obviously not enough.

So here I am at 26 wondering what to do and how I am going to do it. I still play soccer at least once a week, I am no longer the fastest player on the field and I tend to get embarrassed when I play with my buddies from High School. However, I love the sport and will play as much as I can for as long as I can. I also play basketball every morning on Tuesday and Thursday for about 45 minutes. I can finally afford a gym membership and I go to Golds Gym about 3-4 times a week. I have been doing this routine for the last 3 months and if anything I have gained weight from working out. I try to mix it up with weight lifting and cardio, and I am eating right for the most part. I do not eat a lot at any setting and I try to eat several small meals a day rather than 3 large meals.

So there you have it, why am I struggling so much to lose weight? I work out quite a bit and I try to eat healthy. I don’t want to make this site turn into a desperate plea for help from a fat man, but I feel like I am desperate to lose the weight. I have noticed people starting to look at me different and my clothes are getting really tight. I currently wear an XL and I don’t want to have to move up to a XXL. I need to turn this around and get back in shape for my wife, my kids and especially for myself.

I really don’t know what else to do so I have decided I am going to  treat my weight loss like I do my business endeavors. I am going to track everything I do and eat for several months. I will make realistic goals and work hard to achieve my goals. I will track my progress through pictures and and online weigh in results. By doing this I hope to lose my extra 50 pounds and get back to my healthy, active lifestyle.

I do not want to make my identity public until I have lost the weight and I have my self confidence back. After I have achieved my goal I would love to work with someone else that wants to lose weight as well to achieve their goals.

Let’s work together and lose the excess weight!
